Siena Espresso
Siena Espresso
Siena Espresso is a little lighter in character than the European Espresso and tastes more like the light-medium profile you would find in Northern Italy.
We start with several Central American coffees, adding just the right amount of Brazil. This gives the proper amount of acidity. The flavor profile is made for delicious, smooth espresso and it is complex enough for milk based drinks. If made correctly, this produces an espresso with an exceptional amount of crema. Also available in decaf.
Coffee Profile: We use our Costa Rican, Guatemalan, and Brazil coffees to create Siena Espresso. Costa Rican is a medium-bodied roast with notes of chocolate and caramel. Guatemalan contributes balance by maintaining the medium roast profile. Brazil brightens the blend by slightly raising the acidity, all without sacrificing the smooth quality of the espresso. This mixture is known for its smoothness, balanced and medium-body, and bold flavor.
Cupping Notes: medium body, complex flavor, high level of acidity, smooth, notes of toffee and milk chocolate.
