Our Story

Since 1983, our mission has been to search out small farms, promote socially responsible projects, and provide coffees that cross social and economic boundaries. All our coffees are roasted to order and custom blended. We roast our beans using the air roasting method. Air roasting brings art and science together to achieve the perfect cup of coffee. Our handcrafted teas are created using full leaf teas and botanicals from all over the world.

Our family mission extends beyond our offices as we are committed to contributing time and resources to many local community projects. Promoting socially responsible coffees through the support of small farms and co-ops that hand pick the best coffees is what sets us apart! We offer a selection of coffees from which proceeds are reinvested in fair-trade negotiations, improved pay for farmers, and supporting vital infrastructure initiatives such as clean water wells in coffee farming communities.

The coffee community unites friends, workers, and families from diverse backgrounds. Our family business offers fresh micro-roasted coffees from the best farms in the world so everyone can experience the decades of tradition imparted to each and every cup. A number of our coffee blends are inspired by cities we visited overseas, a tribute to fond memories drinking coffee and meeting people in the coffee community. Having traveled widely abroad in search of the best coffees and teas the world has to offer, we put our passport stamp on our favorites. More than 34 years later we are still dedicated to bringing you the highest quality, taste, and traditions from around the world.
