Guatemala Antigua – Finca Medina
Certification: Rainforest Alliance
From the highlands of Antigua, Guatemala—where volcanic soil and cool mountain air create ideal growing conditions—comes this vibrant and traceable community lot, produced in partnership with small family-owned farms and the renowned Finca Medina wet mill.
Handpicked at altitudes ranging from 1,550 to 1,700 masl, ripe coffee cherries are collected at a centralized location and processed at Finca Medina’s eco-conscious facility. After floating to remove low-density beans, the coffee is depulped and fermented in tanks for up to 36 hours, then fully washed and sun-dried on patios to just the right moisture level. The result is a clean, classic Antigua profile—bright, balanced, and full of character.
This Rainforest Alliance Certified lot represents a collaborative supply chain where quality, sustainability, and community support come first. Finca Medina provides technical support, soil-enriching compost from the mill’s by-products, and cupping feedback that helps farmers continuously refine their harvests.
All our imported coffee starts with the highest quality beans. We custom roast, blend and infuse our coffee by hand.
Cupping notes: Bright citrus, milk chocolate, gentle spice
